NYSE MEF Public listing events JSON

NYSE Group posts a small public JSON file, mef_public.json, on ftp.nyse.com with upcoming listing-related events from its Market Event Feed: each result has a type (such as new-listing, new-listed-bond, suspend, stock-split or reverse-stock-split), effective date and timing, published time and security details such as symbol and status. It is not the paid Market Event Feed (MEF) API.

Coverage

One current snapshot, not a history: the file held 14 events on Nov 5, 2026 (7 new-listing, 4 new-listed-bond, 1 suspend, 1 stock-split, 1 reverse-stock-split), with no paging (next is null). NYSE Group-listed securities only. The paid MEF API, which NYSE describes as real-time and historical corporate actions and dividends for subscribers, is a separate product and is not covered here.

Verdict

This is a light new-listings and corporate-event watch for agents that want upcoming NYSE Group listing changes in plain JSON without a key. It is thin and current only; full corporate actions and dividends need the paid MEF API. Reuse falls under NYSE/ICE terms, so check them before automated or commercial use.
