Freeauth: noneCustom#reference-data#listings#stocks✓ verified Nov 5, 2026

JPX List of TSE-listed Issues

Japan Exchange Group's monthly Excel list of every issue listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange as of the previous month-end: local code, English name, market section or product type, 33- and 17-sector codes and TOPIX size bucket. Reference and listings data only, not prices. English and Japanese files; no registration or key.

Coverage

All TSE-listed issues as of the previous month-end (4,444 rows effective Oct 31, 2026): Prime, Standard and Growth domestic stocks, foreign stocks, ETFs/ETNs, REITs and other products, with local code, name, section/product, 33-sector and 17-sector codes and names, and TOPIX New Index Series size code. Updated at about 9:00 a.m. JST on the 3rd business day of each month; only the latest file is posted (no history). Reference data only, not prices; distinct from the J-Quants API.

Verdict

This is the official free Tokyo Stock Exchange security master, for agents that need to map TSE codes to names, market segments and sectors. It is a monthly reference snapshot with no prices and no history. JPX's website terms prohibit collecting data or secondary use of site information for commercial purposes without JPX permission or a paid contract, so treat it as fine for research and internal use and check with JPX before commercial reuse.
