Cloudflare Radar API
Cloudflare Radar exposes aggregated Internet traffic, attack, DNS, routing, outage and technology-trend data through a request/response API. Responses can be JSON or CSV and include series or summaries with query metadata; a Cloudflare account and API token are required.
Coverage
The service covers Internet usage across the globe using Cloudflare's network and aggregated, anonymized data from its 1.1.1.1 resolver. Available measures and time ranges vary by endpoint; response metadata can include the requested start and end times, aggregation interval and a confidence level. Cloudflare's global API limit is 1,200 requests per five-minute period per user.
Verdict
This is a broad signal for shifts in Internet traffic, outages, attacks, routing and technology use across locations and autonomous systems. Radar reflects traffic observed through Cloudflare infrastructure and, unless an endpoint says otherwise, excludes origin fetches. Confidence can fall when Cloudflare reports data-quality issues or insufficient data for a location or autonomous system. API data is CC BY-NC 4.0, so commercial use is outside the licence.
